Dental Clinics
For the past five years, we have been fortunate to hold bi-annual dental clinics sponsored by Project Cambodia, a dental program for Cambodian village families created and supported by the Australian non-profit organization, Buddhist Library and Meditation Centre:
Project Cambodia's dental clinics have provided dental care for over one thousand students, teachers and even Buddhist monks (our school is built on a Buddhist monastery compound. The land was donated by the monastery because they believe in the importance of education.)
The clinics have been really successful: each year, the number of cavities filled has declined.
To ensure that the dental clinic's work is sustained, we provide every student with a toothbrush, toothpaste and dental floss.
